Cold Weather Policy & Lessons
If weather is between 15-25°
classes will be:
10:00AM-12:00PM
and
1:00PM-3:00PM
Group Classes with different Horsemanship Topics!
You'll stay cozy - there are heaters in the stands, aisle, and tack room. Hot Cocoa, coffee, and tea will be available, too! Remember to still dress warmly - bring gloves, a warm jacket, and maybe some extra socks!
What will you learn? These lessons teach our riders (and parents) an even more well-rounded knowledge of horses. Lessons may cover: anatomy, feeding, braiding techniques, body clipping, leg wraps, lunging, parts of the bridle/ saddle, identifying sickness or lameness, blanketing. New classes are being added on - horse/ rider safety and rider fitness!
